Our Story
High Country Cattlemen CoÂ
was born when Nick rediscovered his love for leather work in 2025.
Our name is a homage to the men and women of the bush who would work cattle throughout the Victorian High Country which has since been closed.
Nick learnt how to make his first whip at the age of 16 under the guidance of his Dad. A whip which is still used over 10 years later.
Nick strives to produce quality leather products which will be well loved and are made to last a lifetime.

Winston is Nick's shadow, following him wherever Nick goes.
He is a 4 year old Border Collie. He likes to think he is a working dog, but he is definitely a couch dog.
You will see Winston feature in some of our social media, so make sure you show him some love!
